Welcome aboard the USS Missouri!

Vis Ad Libertatem (Strength for Freedom)

"Every time someone tries to win a war before it starts, innocent people die." -Steve Rogers, Avengers: Age of Ultron

Ship's patch with motto - the text on the top reads United Starship Missouri, the text on the bottom reads Bellerophon Class, and the text in the banner on the patch reads Vis Ad Libertatem, which is Latin for Strength for Freedom"Missouri:" A name which has always been associated with the legendary Iowa class battleship of the United States Navy. Originally named after the US State of Missouri, the 20th Century battleship gained fame for being the site of the surrender of the Empire of Japan on September 2, 1945, ending Earth’s Second World War as well as being the last battleship in commission on Earth.

In the 25th Century, however, the name Missouri has a very different meaning: Newly-launched with the latest and most advanced technology, the Federation Starship Missouri may not look like much, but there’s more to her than meets the eye: Among the host of improvements incorporated into the design of the Bellerophon class included the installation of a permanent Marine garrison and a Quantum Slipstream Drive, as well as a Federation first: A Klingon-based integrated cloaking device, implemented to test the waters of a recent amendment to the Treaty of Algeron maintained with the Romulan Star Empire. The Missouri is one of the Federation’s most advanced Bellerophon Class Light Explorers.

The ship is commanded by Captain Patricia Cooke; a young officer with strong lineage ties to the Missouri name. Patricia is the granddaughter of Major Francine Cooke, a Starfleet Marine and veteran of the Dominion War who served aboard the Excelsior class USS Missouri during that conflict, as well as the distant descendant of Fireman 1st Class Harry Francis Cooke, who served aboard the legendary Iowa class battleship during World War II, and was one of the 50 some odd Chicagoans who witnessed the Japanese surrender. Now, over 450 years later, Patricia is the third Cooke to serve aboard a Missouri, and the first Cooke to command one.

The Missouri is assigned wherever Starfleet needs it to go. One day it could be making first contact with a newly-discovered alien species, the next it could be on the other side of the quadrant investigating a years old cold case.

Welcome to the adventures of the Federation Starship Missouri: May you find us an interesting crew, where fun and exciting things lie in wait around every corner. While we cannot guarantee things to be “normal,” we can guarantee you a fun and interesting Star Trek experience whilst serving on the ship that carries the legendary name Missouri.

Hey, all you Missourians!

Just another quick update regarding the domain switch for our sim:

As mentioned back in march, we will be switching domains to missouri.harperhold.com. I now have an end date for when the sim-station.net domain will be retired:

If you have not done so already, please make sure you are using the harperhold.com link by November 19 to avoid service disruptions.

Thank you for your time!

Hey, all you Missourians!

This is your captain, Patricia Cooke, speaking: Here to inform you that we will be changing URLs, leaving behind the last URL carried by our predecessor sim.

Some research by fleet personnel has suggested that for some firewalls, a .net site is harder to reach than a .com site. As such, we will be migrating to a .com domain.

The USS Missouri can now be found at https://missouri.harperhold.com so please make sure you update your bookmarks. https://missouri.sim-station.net will still be available for now, but the migration will be formalized later this year, as the sim-station.net domain…

Mission: Ghost Starship
Posted on Wed Mar 11th, 2026 @ 8:33am by Lieutenant Commander Andrew Star & Ensign Toran Vos

The newly appointed Chief Engineer, dressed still in his messy Teal uniform covered in every engineering oil. He was skipping, an engineering bag in his hand, along the steel corridors of the Missouri. The ship was still recovering from the battle, and he still hadn't had time to reorganize his department, hence why he was skipping along to an engineer callout.

Stopping in front of a door, he pushed the bell and waited for it to swoosh open.

Toran glanced towards the door, muttering under his breath, glancing back to the mess he was trying to mitigate. "Come in!" he…

Mission: Ghost Starship

2400, USS Meridan

Lieutenant Darik Moreau was alone in the Intelligence office when the transfer orders arrived, which in itself was a small mercy. In the low, indirect light of the room, he seemed at first glance almost carved into shadow, lean and long-limbed in the dark uniform jacket he had long since stopped noticing on his own body, even if he had always had to alter the cut to accommodate his neck. He stood with one hand braced lightly against the edge of the desk, the other resting near a cooling mug of tea, his posture composed without quite…

Captain's log,

On the trip out to the coordinates I-402 has provided, I have cross-referenced various Galaxy class ships that have gone missing over the years. Based on what our guest has told me, I looked back at disappearances that occurred during the era of Picard and the Enterprise-D.

It is my opinion that the most likely vessel this derelict could be is the USS Hindenburg, which went missing shortly after Wolf 359. However, only time will reveal this derelict's identity to us...

End of log:

Not too long after departing from the Starbase, the Missouri dropped out of warp…

Mission: Ghost Starship
Posted on Mon Mar 2nd, 2026 @ 8:45am by Lieutenant Commander Andrew Star & Lieutenant Alice Penrose

As the alarm clock screamed like a spoiled child in the toy section in Walmart, Andrew opened his eyes, remembered his schedule, and grumbled because he had his mandatory psych was up. Sitting in a room for an hour, talking to a Doctor to figure out if he had Cabin Fever was the only thing interesting because the remainder of the day involved him locked in his new office, sorting his new department.

Just like Dolly sang, Andrew tumbled out of bed and into the kitchen, making himself a strong, very black coffee and adding a redbull into the cup.…

Patricia stepped out of the ready room as the boatswain's whistle sounded. It was time for the Missouri to get underway. Striding across the bridge to the command pit, Patricia gazed upon her empty center chair, smiling for a moment, before turning to sit in it.

"Helm, status of umbilicals?" Patricia asked.

"Umbilicals are ready to be retracted at your command, Captain." Charlie responded.

"Excellent." Patricia replied, turning to Katrina. "Shall we salvage ourselves a starship?"

Katrina allowed herself a small smile and a nod at Patricia's request. Inwardly, she was curious, and one might say eager, to see what…

Chief Counsellors Log Number One, Lieutenant JG Eradaar Ezazzan speaking.

It has been a week since I departed the USS Poseidon and left my mate, Lieutenant Lazarus Kord, behind. Whilst we have kept close contact with one another, I would be greatly remiss in stating anything other than a great sadness at our parting. Lazarus has been my rock and foundation since the very inceptions of our feelings for one another. I understand now a few things about us, about our situation and uniqueness.

Lazarus was an outcast in his own home. His situation I cannot state here openly, but…
